Dr Fredua Agyemang is a postdoctoral research fellow with the South African Research Chair Initiative (SARChI) in Cities, Law, and Environmental Sustainability (CLES) at North-West University and a researcher for AJIS Landed Properties. His work focuses on sustainable cities and mining.
He holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning (North-West University), a Master’s in Town and Regional Planning (University of KwaZulu-Natal), two Master of Laws (LLM) degrees—Public Law (University of Pretoria) and Environmental Law (University of the Western Cape)—a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (University of South Africa), and a BSc in Land Economy (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology).
Dr Agyemang has published peer-reviewed articles, presented at local and international conferences, and serves as Assistant Editor for the Potchefstroom Electronic Law Journal. He co-lectures Local Government and Environmental Law (LLMO 885) at North-West University, supervises students, and reviews articles for leading journals in his field.
