Prof. Anjun Jerry Jin is a research fellow and the executive director in IAIEAS [ INNOVATION ACADEMY OF INTERNATIONAL EURASIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES ], he is also an honorary professor [in Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan, China]. He has served as a foreign academician and a fellow in several countries. His current research focuses on renewable energy, carbon peaking carbon neutrality topics such as solar power, solar thermal energy, distributed energy resources, smart grids, energy blockchains, and technology commercialization. He is currently focused on distributed energy resources and smart energies. He has published over 200 papers, books, and patents in total. He has been the first researcher in the world who has recently published the foundational relationship studying the conversion of power, carbon emissions, and economics. He is published author with over two hundreds in article and patents.
Dr. Jin's work has received important international and domestic recognition. For example, he has been awarded as the Distinguished Expert of the National Talent Program and has been engaged as the Chief Scientist of China Huaneng Group. During his fruitful career, Dr. Jin has won the award of the Most Credible Entrepreneur in China and the Jiangsu Province Innovation Team Award. His work was cited by Nobel laureates in 2016 and he was invited by a Nobel Laureate to co-editor in publish a book on Green Technologies. In 2017, Dr. Jin has received the Advanced Materials Scientist Award in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2020, due to his outstanding work in energy blockchain, he was invited to be a Fellow and Editorial Board Advisor of the International Association of Advanced Materials. He has served as the editor-in-chief, an editor, and/or executive technical advisor of several professional magazines.
Dr. Jin has long committed himself to scientific research, technological breakthroughs and value creation of various products and industrial chains in the upstream, middle and downstream in the fields of new energy technology, photovoltaic and solar thermal PSC batteries, solid - state thermoelectric power generation, energy blockchain, ocean thermal energy power generation, semiconductor technology and new materials, applied physics, and Internet technology.
Dr. Jin has trained many young scientist researchers as the thesis advisor for the graduate in pursuing their doctorate and master degrees. The research topics of his research group include ocean energy and temperature difference energy, new energy, energy blockchain; work in the direction of power generation, energy storage and Internet of Things. It promotes role in the construction of the distributed generation and energy blockchain ecosystem.
