Dr. Shivani is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, India. A Ph.D. graduate in Chemistry from the same institution, she specializes in air quality research, with expertise in ambient aerosol collection, chemical characterization, and source apportionment of pollutants using advanced receptor modeling techniques.
Dr. Shivani's research experience includes prestigious collaborations such as the Atmospheric Pollution and Human Health (APHH) program in Delhi, conducted in partnership with the University of Birmingham, UK. Her work has led to impactful publications in leading journals like Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics and Chemosphere.
An enthusiastic educator and mentor, Dr. Shivani is guiding PH.D. students and serving in various administrative capacities, fostering research and development initiatives. She has received international recognition, including a travel grant from the Department of Science and Technology, India, and a Direct-SRF award from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.
